Colours
Colours may be golden, red, chocolate or black.

Markings
In addition to the colours above, a puppy may have some of the following markings or patterns.
These markings can apply to any colour puppy, apart from merle which only acts on chocolate or black coats.
Solid - an absence of markings
Parti markings - a white base coat with patches of colour across the body
Abstract - white markings on chest and paws
Merle - this is a dilution gene and shows-up as marble patterns over a chocolate or black base coat
